OVERVIEW

What I built

The RF work includes a low-noise amplifier, Wilkinson divider, stepped-impedance low-pass filter, mixer and antenna characterization, SDR experiments, and an end-to-end transceiver laboratory.

ENGINEERING WORK

What the project demonstrates

  • ADS schematic, matching-network, and transmission-line design.
  • VNA measurement of S11, S21, return loss, insertion loss, impedance, and isolation.
  • Spectrum-analyzer measurement of IF, LO, RF, mixer products, and filtering.
  • Real-hardware comparison against simulated performance and analysis of parasitics.
  • Hands-on RF fabrication and troubleshooting.
